The Aera House is a private lifestyle and concierge house based in Koh Samui, Thailand. References to "we," "us," and "our" in this policy mean The Aera House.

What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us. When you submit the enquiry form on this site, we collect:
Your name
Your email address
Your phone number, if you provide one
The nature of your request, if you provide one
The content of the message you send us
We also automatically log the date and time of your submission and the IP address it came from. This is used solely to help us identify and prevent abuse of the form.
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited and how visitors arrive. It sets cookies and receives your IP address as part of this. We see this information only in aggregate; it does not identify you to us.
Why we collect it
We use the information you provide for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and arrange the services you have asked us about. We may keep a record of our correspondence so we can serve you well over time, and so we have a history of any arrangements we have made for you.
We will not use your information to send marketing messages unless you have specifically asked us to.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for marketing.
To run the site and communicate with you, we use a small number of trusted service providers:
Brevo (formerly Sendinblue): sends the enquiry emails from our website to our inbox. Brevo briefly processes the contents of your enquiry while delivering it.
Google Fonts: loads the typefaces used on this website. Google may receive your IP address as part of this technical request.
Google Analytics: helps us understand how the site is used. Google sets cookies and receives your IP address and pages visited.
Our website host: stores the website itself and may keep server logs of visits.
If your enquiry results in us arranging services on your behalf (for example a private travel itinerary, an exclusive reservation, or an introduction to a partner), we will only share what is necessary with the provider involved, and only with your knowledge and agreement.
Where your information is stored
Your information may be processed in Thailand, the United Kingdom, the European Union, and other countries where our service providers operate. We take care to work with providers who handle data to a recognised standard of protection.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and any related follow-up. Where we have arranged services for you, we may retain records for longer to maintain a continuous service. If you would like us to delete the information we hold about you, please email us and we will do so unless we are legally required to keep it.

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights over the information we hold about you, including the right to:

Children
This website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without your explicit consent.
